The East End Gallery sponsors a writers’ group called Country Expressions. The group meets once a month for drinks, nibbles, read and discuss the topic we have all pursued.
The briefs are picked at the end of each meeting for the following month. We have a word limit of about seven hundred and fifty words so we don’t bore each other into unconsciousness. However, this opens the scope for producing poetry, prose, scripts and all other forms of written expression.
If any participants would prefer not to contribute in written form, they are still welcome to attend, listen and join in our lively conversations. We pride ourselves on being an exceedingly social group with a literary bent!
This is peer support par excellence. Lots of fun and lots of encouragement.
